11-5-2020 Update

Dear Maritime Community:

Maritime has received confirmation of two Covid cases this week, a student in the high school and a staff member at the middle school.  Please be aware that we cannot release the name or any other personally identifiable information regarding the cases.

Anyone who may have had close contact with the individual has been contacted by the health department.  People contacted were informed that they must quarantine for a designated period of time. As always we will continue to follow protocols as directed by the Erie County Health Department.

Both schools  have implemented these protocols to minimize the spread of the Covid virus and other infectious diseases. The schools are being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily.

All students, parents, guardians, and staff should continue to monitor their health for symptoms of COVID-19, including, but not limited to, chills, new loss of taste/smell, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, congestion, nausea/vomiting and sore throat.  A health questionnaire must be filled out to enter the building each day.  If you or a family member begins experiencing any of these symptoms and suspect it may be COVID-19 contact your health care provider.

Maritime will work through this process with anyone who has concerns.

Please do not hesitate to contact either school with any questions.
