Though my job is officially to teach students the Living Environment curriculum, I believe I am here to do more than that. Each student has a particular set of skills and abilities that make them who they are as a person. Rather than simply teach a class that focuses only on a select few abilities, I try to foster the growth of as many as I can. I cannot guarantee that a student will remember what the concept of Mendelian genetics was 20 years down the road, but instead that they were able to be themselves, grow as an individual, and that I helped.
