Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is the system used at the middle school to encourage positive behavior that candidates get rewarded for. Our PBIS core values are rooted in the acronym D.R.I.V.E. which stands for determinationrespectintegrityvalor & excellence. Candidates learn about this system during bootcamp and it is reinforced throughout the year. If they are exhibiting these traits they are rewared with "Commodore Cash". Commodore Cash is a currency that can be used to purchase merchandise from the school store or pay for school approved trips/events.

The focus of this program is to acknowledge and reward students for consistent positive behavior.
