In Sodus, NY, home to Alasa Farms, 7 cadets joined Mr. Morrison on Saturday, October 5, 2019, and participated in a world class orienteering competition. The cadets were excited to meet and compete with orienteers from around the country, including the team from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where our team will compete in the Spring. Maritime Charter is grateful for the support we and our students receive from FeedMoreWNY, formerly known as The Food Bank of WNY. Every week some of our students participate in an onsite food pantry where they can stock the shelves of their houses for their families. This partnership helps eleviate a burden so many in our community face and keeps our students healthy and in school. Click for a video featuring one of our Cadets.
After high school graduation, what will you do? Come talk to representatives from SUNY colleges, private colleges, 2-year community colleges, military branches, and vacational training centers.
This will be held at the same time as our Meet the Teacher night at the high school on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 5-7pm .
Parents, please join us Tuesday September 24, for Meet the Teachers night. This will be held at our highschool, 266 Genesee St., from 5-7 pm. for both middle and high school parents. Middle school parents will meet in the library. High school parents will pick up and follow their child's schedule. We look foward to meeting all of you!
On Saturday, 9/7/2019, Cadets from WNY Maritime Charter School helped this morning at the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5k by routing runners on during the race. Their presence was truly well received. Click for pictures of the event.
